I believe that therapy should be accessible, therefore I offer a limited number of sliding scale spots. If cost is a concern, feel free to reach out, and we can discuss options that work for you.

At this time, I do not accept insurance for therapy sessions. My focus is on providing personalized, high-quality care tailored to your unique needs. While insurance can make mental health services more affordable, it often limits the level of care and flexibility I can provide. By not working with insurance companies, I can maintain greater control over the therapeutic process and ensure our work is not influenced by third-party policies.
I understand that out-of-pocket costs can be a concern, and I work to keep my rates reasonable. Upon request, I can provide a superbill that you can submit to your insurance provider for possible reimbursement through your plan's out-of-network benefits.
If you're unsure whether your insurance plan offers out-of-network benefits, feel free to contact your provider and ask the following questions:
Do I have out of network coverage for outpatient mental health?
If yes, what is my out-of-network deductible?
How much of my deductible has been met this year?
What is my out-of-network coinsurance for outpatient mental health visits?
Do I need a referral from an in-network provider or a primary care physician to see someone out-of-network?
How do I submit claims for out-of-network reimbursement?

I offer in-person therapy sessions in the Hudson Valley area and virtual therapy sessions for clients nationwide, providing flexible options to meet your needs.

Your first therapy session is an opportunity to share the reasons you're seeking help, your goals for therapy, and any past experiences that may be relevant. Together, we'll explore your concerns, identify key areas for growth, and develop a personalized treatment plan tailored to your unique needs. This session will also help establish a trusting and supportive therapeutic relationship, ensuring a strong foundation for our work together.

Clients can typically expect to commit to therapy for 3-6 months to a year, with weekly sessions at the start to build momentum and trust. The duration of therapy depends on the client's history, the issues they are working through, and how much self-work has been done prior to starting therapy. If you'd like to learn more or schedule a session, please reach out via the Contact page.
